Charles W. Trackwell, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 1, 2016. He was born July 10, 1949 in Brazil, Indiana.

Charles graduated from Ben Davis High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. He was the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Indiana University Methodist Hospital Campus, and was a member of the American Legion Post 497.

Charles is survived by his wife Marcia Trackwell; children Charles Trackwell Jr. (Rhea Barker), Diana Trackwell (Nick Ellis), Amanda (Nathan) Wrege, and Adam Hickman; grandchildren Ashleigh Trackwell, Bethany-Ann Trackwell, Casey Trackwell, Skylar Wrege, Joel Wrege, and Oskar Ellis; sister Nancy Watkins; and step-father George Coats, who raised him from a young age.

He was preceded in death by his father William Trackwell; mother Betty Coats; brother David Trackwell; and sister Willmetta Harper.

Services will be held 6 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016, at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. The family will greet friends on Monday from 12 p.m. – 3p.m. and from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
