Charles F. Purpura, age 89, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. He is survived by his wife Alice (Jackie) Purpura, children Charlene Aton, Phillip Purpura, Michael Purpura, stepchildren Linda Pettitt, Wanda Hoffman, Jack Hunter, eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a surviving sister, Margaret Ogden and several nephews and nieces.
Charles was a decorated World War II veteran, serving with the 36th Infantry Division. Charles will be sincerely missed by those who loved him. There will be no formal viewing or funeral services.
