Carolyn Y. Hancock 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 27, 2016. Carolyn was born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia on May 3, 1942. She married John D. Hancock on November 13, 1965.
Carolyn is survived by her husband; children, John Hancock Jr. and Tracie Ayers; Grandchildren, Faith and Emalie Ayers; great-grandchild, Rowyn Cravens; sister, Bernice Batton; brothers, William (Mabel) and Robert (Karen) Winkler; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Bruce.
Friends and family may call from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., April 4, 2016 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 10: a.m., April 5,2016, at Union Chapel Cemetery, 8306 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis.
