
Carol Queisser Cox, 67, Indianapolis, died Aug. 24, 2014 of a massive stroke. She was born Feb. 4, 1947, the 5th of 7 children of Arthur and Ruth(Cain) Queisser. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Cox; siblings, Tom, Leo (Kathy) and Harold (Kandi) Queisser and Gail (Pete) Blainey; many nieces and nephews; Lori Quessier; and best friend, Nancy Iles. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Sally Richardson and Helen Gardner; and nephews, Michael and Shaun Quessier. She loved spending time with Robin, playing tennis, working in the yard, and watching the Colts and Pacers. She went to St. Joan of Arc Grade School and Bishop Chatard High School. As a youth, she was an excellent athlete, winning 4 races in one city champion CYO swim meet and pitching her Joan of Arc team to CYO city kickball championship. Calling is Thurs. Aug. 28, 9-11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 4600 Kenwood, Indianapolis, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. and then a peace meal.
