
Carl Joseph Soellinger fell asleep in death Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Noblesville, Indiana. A recent resident of Indianapolis, he was born Nov 23, 1934 as the youngest of five children to Aaron McDougall Soellinger and Ruth Leona Mountz in Huntertown, Indiana.
A graduate of Albion High School in 1953, he served 2 years in the U.S. Army, managed Singer Sewing Machine stores for 10 years and worked in the insurance field with Prudential for 10 years. In 1981 he started his own repair and remodeling business which became known as AA-Jays Remodeling in partnership with Don Winget for 26 years. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1998.
He is survived by his loving wife Nanette Soellinger of Indianapolis, sons: Aaron (Cathy) Soellinger of Fort Wayne, C. Steven Soellinger of Huntertown; daughter Tawana Benson of Fort Wayne; stepsons: U. Shane Ramirez of Fort Wayne, Jeremiah (Kristie) Ramirez of Lakeland, Florida; stepdaughter Tiffany (Daniel) Chartrand of Indianapolis; 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and his sister Dorothy Maxey of New Haven.
Memorial services to be held at 2 pm on Nov 19 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 11181 St Rd 37E, Fort Wayne/New Haven. Burial at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur Indiana.
