Beverly Jean Worley, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 10, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis on July 22, 1931 to Robert and Susie Soudriette. Bev graduated from Arsenal Tech High School.
She married Donald ‘Ted’ Worley on August 22, 1952. Bev was a avid reader, Bridge player, great cook, and a wonderful party planner. She belonged to the Garden Community in Edgewood in the 70s, and the Garden Club in Santa Claus in the 80s and 90s. She also was part of Santa Claus’ elves, answering children of the world letters to Santa. Bev also belonged to the Anderson Country Club. She was most recently a member of the Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Bev was a bookkeeper for the family business, Worley and Associates; and most importantly a homemaker. She and Ted were blessed with a son, Brent; who then gave them 2 granddaughters, Allison and Megan. Bev was most proud of her twin granddaughters; and loved to spoil them to no end.
Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; son, Brent; siblings, Mary June and Robert; and her parents. She is survived by her twin granddaughters, Allison (Brett) Sidnam and Megan (Phil) Anderson; great grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Grant, Elyse, and Evan; daughter-in-law, Patty O’Brien; and her beloved dog, Theo.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
