Beverly Angel Nemec passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home,
surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was
born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 26, 1938 to her parents
Jerry and Max Barker. Bev graduated from Aresenal Tech High School and
later attended Indiana University. Bev married the love of her life,
Ronald Nemec on June 11, 1957. Together Bev and Ron shared fifty-eight
years of wonderful memories. Ron and Bev enjoyed their three children:
Catherine (Paul) Staff, Leslie (John) Porteous, and Ron Jr., his four
grandchildren: Sarah and Emily Porteous, Alexandra and Rebecca Staff,
and niece Karen Shirley.

Bev looked forward to her yearly summer trips to the boundary waters
of northern Minnesota accompanied by her family and best friends. She
was an avid reader and loved spending time at the YMCA. She retired
from Kittles Furniture store after thirty-five dedicated years.

A celebration of her life will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church on
Saturday, August 18th at 11:00am.
