“When it is all over I shall wear a crown. I have gone to see the king.” Betty A Conway transitioned into her heavenly life from a sudden death on April, 6 2019.
Betty was born in Greenville, South Carolina to parents Doris Turner and Henry Conway on November 12, 1957 following the birth of her older sister Linda Conway. At the age of the 2 Betty and her family migrated from the south to Muncie Indiana where she would grow up and live out her childhood years. Betty Attended Northside High School and later would transfer to Muncie Central where she would finish her High school career. Betty then chose to relocate to Anderson, Indiana with her mother Doris where she would later enroll at Anderson University studying Advertising & Marketing. Betty lived in Anderson where she would birth her one and only daughter Rajanay Hopkins and would also raise her in Anderson until the year of 1986. Betty then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she became a sales representative for Estee Lauder Cosmetic company and later for other companies such as Rubbermaid, Planters Peanuts, Rogers Tobacco, and Oberweis Dairy.
One of Betty’s many passions was her love for clothes and shopping. Betty was known for her distinctive fashion sense and knowledge of all the newest trends. Her most frequented place to be was undoubtedly the mall where she was seen shopping and socialising almost every day. Her love for fashion and clothing was also something she passed on to her daughter and loved ones. Another of Betty’s great talents and vices was her skill in the kitchen, Betty was known and loved for her cooking and its ability to bring family and friends together. She enjoyed cooking big meals and hosting parties for all her close friends and family. In her later years Betty’s greatest love came from being a grandmother to her only grandson Princeton Rush who called her “Duchess”. Betty and her grandson were inseparable and were often seen together on her daily errands, even when Princeton left Indiana for university Betty and him would continue to communicate daily for the next few years prior to her passing.
Those left to cherish her memory include her only child Rajanay Hopkins (Indianapolis, IN), her grandson Princeton Rush (District of Columbia), sister Linda Coker, nephew Tyson Abrams, and Aunts and Uncles of her maternal side the Leveretts (South Carolina)
She is preceded in death by her parents Doris Turner (Indianapolis, IN), and Henry Conway (Muncie, IN).
Her memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Friends and family may visit for one hour prior to the service.

BE ENCOURAGED!
Naturally speaking we’ll miss her.
Spiritually we can Rejoyce!
I last saw and talked to her at Kroger recently where I work. She shopped there all the time and we would talk about memories of growing up in Muncie and family. It was always such a Joy to look up and see her. She once told me that, Michael Winans had asked her out and she turned him down. I said, “Are You Crazy?” ……To Bet With Love
