Love you “mom” Petree. Having spent most of my time at your house, ironically, as you continuously chased Bruce & I out of the house!! LOL. Loving memories of Mr. Petree tinkering on old cars in the garage as you cooked in the kitchen. God Bless.

Dear Aunt Barb. Some thoughts about you. Uncle Charlie said it was love at first sight with you with his cousin Bob and he with Rosie. I laughed when he told that story because my mom and dad(Harold & Rita) also had fallen for each other while doubling with another.
You were a great admirer of the author, environmentalist and women’s rights advocate Gene Stratton Porter. You faithfully tended your flowers over in Woodruff Place. You had a beautiful, creamy complexion. You were very thankful to the family you married Into.

Dear Momma, Truly the Wind beneath my wings. Always on my side. So sorry your delivery with me was so hard on your little body! What an adoring young mother you were. So lucky I had 4 years with you all to myself before you started bring all those brothers home from the hospital !!! In high school Always arranging for the majorette costumes to be made;that Brad was shining my boots and cleaning my baton. . . How you cried when you delivered me to College. How proud you were that I wore your Wedding Dress (Daddy’s suggestion). What a wonderful, loving Grandmother you were! So thrilled with your first grandchild, Holly! I could fill a book! Loved all the artwork you created and skill you developed in Assisted Living. Don’t know what I will do with all the time I used to care for you and visit you. You are sorely missed and deeply loved eternally. ❤️
