Barbara J Adams, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away August 20, 2017.  She graduated from Crispus Attucks and served in U.S Army. Survivors include her children Kelly, Phillip(April), Eric, Alan (Juanita) Adams, Terry Mansfield; 9 grandkids; 8 great-grandkids; Sisters Dora Minter, Edith(Robert) Brewer, Windy Graves; Brother, Jerry Graves.  Cremation by Indiana Funeral Care.

    Words cannot express how you feel at this time I’m sorry for the loss of mother Adams and I mean she’ll be very well missed I’ve always appreciated her kindness and lovingness her soft-spoken us she was a good role model her and your dad David G Adams. We’re great parents thank you for sharing them with me. Two Dana Kelley Ricky and Dino, I love you all be strong in the word of God. Always share the memories.

    As times such as these come upon us without warning and preparation just know that Our Lord and savior will comfort and give the very peace that you need. Momma Adams was the epitome of Love and she showed us how to do it also. May God strengthen each of you as well as me!

    Words can’t express the loss of a mother, sister, grandmother, great/grandmother, aunt, and dear friend. It’s a blessing to have known you for 35 plus years. God bless the family in this time of mourning.

    Growing we all had mothers that loved us.Mrs Adams showed us love that it truly took a village to raise a child.Always good motherly advice.She will truly be missed in our village.Glory to God that we will get to see her again 🙏🏿🙏🏿
