April J. Ligus, 58, Camby, IN passed away December 16, 2018 in Indianapolis.
She was born and raised in New Jersey until 1983 when she moved to Indiana. April was extremely creative. She was great with drawing and when in High School she sketched a life like photo of the family dog. Not only could she draw but she excelled in cooking, knowing the exact herbs and spices to use at all times and made meals that could feed 50 people. She was also extremely talented in home decorating. Over the years she added new decor to her own home making it look like something out of a magazine.
She is survived by her parents, Edward and Merrily Ligus; son, Richie Gugluizzi; brother, Edward Ligus Jr.; sister, Juliana Dillehay; and nephews, Justin and Brandon Dillehay.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.

April, I will always remember the great times we had with you and your family, back in the days when a family reunion was truly a family reunion. You were a beacon of light to all of us. God promise’s us an eternal home where there is no pain or sorrow. As we look to the heavens and find it’s brightest star, we will know it is you, free from pain. Free from suffering, and now smiling down upon us. You are now at peace. Miss you, cuz.

April entered our lives when she became our daughter in law. Even when that changed we were still in touch. She has now entered GODS family and will be safe and free from pain from now on. Prayers and love to a beautiful soul.
Marion and Pat gugliuzzi.

Dear Ligus family, my sincere condolences for your loss. Rest assured that Almighty God promises to redeem our dear loved ones from the power of the grave and from death, and to recover them. At Hosea 13:14, God says: “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” Imagine your dear loved one, April, being recovered, redeemed, brought back to life. This is what God has promised us, and we can look forward to seeing our dear loved ones again. May the hope of being reunited with Charles bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
