August 7th 2019 was a warm and sunny day. It was also the day the Lord called for our dearest Mother to join him in the Kingdom of Heaven, to once again embrace her family and friends who passed before her. Ann Poulimas lived a happy life of grace and honor and she taught us all, through her example, the values of Respect, Humility, Loyalty and Forgiveness. However, her greatest lesson was to Love each other unconditionally.
Ann was a 1950 graduate of Lansingburgh High School in Troy , N.Y. She was a Loyal and Devoted employee of Standard Locknut and Lockwashers in Carmel, IN. as well as part time jobs at L.S. Ayers and Macys. She taught us the value of hard work, as she would work these jobs day and night for decades, so that she may provide for her family.
Ann was Honored to be a lifelong member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Indianapolis. She is survived by her Loving sister Mary Passarelli and her devoted Sons and Daughters-in-Laws Michael and Janet Poulimas, Ted and Irene Poulimas and James and Debra Poulimas. Ann is also fondly remembered by her Grandchildren Barbara Rimer, Jamie and Eric Chandler, Anna, Kristen and Nicholas Poulimas and Alexander Poulimas. She is also cherished by her Great Grandchildren; Ian and Ivy Rimer, and Austin and Nyla Chandler, as well as her many friends, whom she held most dearly.
Mom, thank you for your influence on all of our lives. You will always be remembered by so many. Your love of God, Family and Country is an example for us all.
We Love You and God Bless You.
