Alfonso Roberto “Bob” Zuniga, 71, passed away on November 26, 2016 surrounded by family. He was born on March 30, 1945 in Marion, IN to Al and Alicia Zuniga. He graduated from Xavier University with a degree in Economics, and a minor in Theology. Bob joined the US Army, where he proudly served as a Captain.

Bob met the love of his life, Susan, in middle school. They were married in June 1969. Bob and Susan had many adventures early in their marriage, travelling for the Army. They settled in the Indianapolis area, raising their 2 children, Ann and Nick; who Bob loved to dote on.

Bob was stock broker for Charles Schwab, retiring in 2010; giving him an opportunity to spend lots of treasured time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan; children, Ann (John II) Testerman and Nick (Tiffany) Zuniga; the light of his life, his grandchildren, Jacob Zuniga, Christopher Moore, Sarah Moore, John “Sammy” Testerman III, Ryan Zuniga, and sweet Caroline Zuniga; his sister, Olga; nephews, Manuel and Dominic. Bob was preceded in death by his sons, Chris and Andy; parents Al and Alicia Zuniga; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Jean Adams.

Bob was the backbone of his family. He showed his wife, children, and grandchildren how to love with all your heart. He will be missed more than words can express.
