
Agnes Bromfield, 94 of Evergreen Park, Illinois, passed away May 28, 2016 in Carmel, Indiana. Agnes was born to the late Roland and Christina Hughes in Chicago, Illinois on August 20, 1921. She was married to Vernon N. Bromfield for 52 years until his passing in 1995. Agnes was a devoted parishioner of St. Bernadette Church and resided in Evergreen Park until her move to Carmel, Indiana in 2013.
Agnes was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary (William) Gleason and Myrtle Hughes.
Agnes is survived by her children; Thomas J. (Louise) Bromfield, Gregory M. (Meredith) Bromfield, Mary Ann (Jeff) Henderson, Nancy C. (Michael) Holly; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 2 at ?St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9343 S. Francisco Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Agnes will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
