Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, with Rev. James Schulz officiating. Agnes will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Rd., Indianapolis.
Agnes Christina Stry, 77, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana.
Agnes was born August 18, 1936, to Colvin and Inga Johnson in the town of Burns, Wisconsin. She married Vernon E. Stry on May 11, 1963 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in West Salem, Wisconsin. Agnes worked at Sallie Mae for the majority of her accounting career.
Agnes is survived by her husband Vernon, of Indianapolis; her daughters, Stacey and Terri, both of Indianapolis; and sisters Leona (Merlyn) Olson and Mildred Anderson, both of Union Grove, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ruth Rogstad; five brothers John, Carl, Stanley, Calvin, and Russell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Clara Stry; and her brother-in-law Walter Anderson.
