Abelino “Abbey” Torres of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 10, 2016. Abbey was born April 6, 1940 in Socorro, New Mexico to Miguel Torres and Rufina Gonzales. Abbey retired from Honeywell. He participated in karate and enjoyed dancing, especially Swing dancing, in his younger years. Abbey could usually be found in his garage tinkering with some kind of lawn equipment or vehicle. Abbey is survived by three sons, Jerry (Kaye), Gerry (Linda), and Herb, grandchildren Andrea, Valarie, Jeremy, Ryan, Gary, Josh, Micayla, Walter, and Max, five great-grandchildren, his sister Marcella Archuleta, and brother Eugene Torres.
