Ron Spencer

Ron Spencer passed away on May 7, 2013. He was born on June 11, 1947 in Toronto, Canada. He moved to Indiana when he married his wife Marcia. Ron loved Canada and spending time being outdoors in his home country. His other love was cars. Ron was very active in hot rod clubs in both countries. For the past 14 years he was a member of Cluster Buster Hot Rod club where he had many wonderful friends and made some great memories. Ron is survived by his wife, Marcia; father, Bill; son, John (Denise) McConaghy; granddaughter, Danielle; sisters Sandy (Fred) Hamilton and Cheryle Irwin; nieces and nephews, in-laws, and many wonderful friends including Buster his dog. He is preceded in death by his mother Corinne, and wife, Louise. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18 at Good Shepherd Chapel at Oaklawn/Flanner and Buchanan on Allisonville Road. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Canine Companions for Independence or a charity of the donor’s choice.
