Date Of Death: March 4, 2011

William O. “Bill� Garrett, 86, passed away on March 4, 2011.
He was born in Bedford, KY, and retired from Schwitzer Corp. Bill was a member of the Masons and a lifetime member of V.F.W. #261. He served in WWII under Gen. Patton.
Bill is survived by his step-daughter, Brenda (Richard) Cathcart; three grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; four sisters; his first wife, Ruth; and his second wife, Elaine.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Sunnyside Apostolic Church in Lawrence. Burial with military rites will follow in Washington Park East.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be directed to American Lung Association in his name.

    we are very sorry of the passing of our friend bill, we had some good times with bill when we visited him in at his house, he was very good to us and took us places we had’nt been and we had some good laughs, he was a good guy, loved to laugh and play jokes, he will be missed.
