I’m so sorry to hear about Bill. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I host a radio show on 95.5 WFMS and Bill would call in claiming to be from the “Williams Creek Trailer Park.” He loved country music (especially Dwight Yoakam) and always spoke so lovingly of his wife…and his pets! Even though I’m a Democrat, Bill would always show me respect. He had a sometimes wicked sense of humor that would have me laughing for hours. Bill was my friend…and I’ll miss him.

My condolences to you and all your family on the passing of your husband and father. You do not know me but I am the grandaughter of Laura Apple’s sister Lucinda. My mother and William would have been first cousins. Again I am sorry for your loss.
Sincerely

I was so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I first met him in the 1980s as we were both collectors of political and sports memorabilia. I always enjoyed visiting with Bill and Thom as they shared a table at the Stewart show. I still have a treasured 1860 political badge of Stephen Douglas that I got from Bill years ago. Even though we hadn’t kept in touch in the last few years, I considered Bill a friend and I will miss him. My condolences to his loving family. He will be remembered fondly by many.
