Wayne Floyd Miller, 94, of Indianapolis, IN., passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013. Mr. Miller was born on Feb. 16, 1919, and grew up in Anderson, IN. He lived in Columbus, IN from 1965 to 2003, and most recently resided at Robin Run Village in Indianapolis. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Miller served in the Air Force and was stationed in Guam. An avid pilot, he enjoyed flying his own airplane. He was active in The 92nd Bomber Squadron Association and attended annual national reunions with other veterans. While in Anderson, he was engaged in farming and was interested in new innovations in agriculture and livestock management and production. He always had a deep appreciation of nature and truly valued his friends and family. His wife of 59 years, Mary Margaret Dixon Miller, preceded him in death in 2004. Mr. Miller is survived by daughters Mary Ann Meshberger (Frank Lynn), Carmel, IN. and Laura Baechle, Indianapolis, IN. and grandchildren Susan Latucca (Frank), Arlington, VA., Christopher Meshberger, New Orleans, LA., and Simone Baechle, Chicago, IL. A memorial service will be held on Sat. April 27 at 2 p.m. at Robin Run Village. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
