Date Of Birth: February 20, 1917
Date Of Death: April 11, 2012

Waneta Bonnie (Martin) Sarver, passed away at the age of 95, on April 11, 2012. Bonnie was born on February 20, 1917 near Lynn, Indiana to Frank and Myrtle Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Russell W. Sarver and her only sibling, Frank Martin II. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Roderic) Kramer; a son, Steven (Melodie) Sarver; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She grew up in Centerville, Indiana and in one week after graduating high school, moved to Indianapolis. Because of growing up through the Depression, Bonnie had a very strong work ethic and held jobs most of her life while being a loving wife and mother of two. She worked as a hostess/waitress at various Indianapolis restaurants, notably King Cole on the Circle and L.S. Ayres Team Room downtown. Bonnie and her husband also owned a Dairy Queen Brassiere in Terre Haute, Indiana, where they worked and lived for 9 years. She favored Big Band music and loved to dance. In her Golden years, Bonnie became an avid Pacers fan, followed politics, watched news shows, and her favorite show, Dancing With The Stars. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17 at Harry W Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 16 at the funeral home. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery following the service. Friends may sign her online guestbook at www.harrywmoore.com.

    Dear Rod and Sharon

I was saddened to read about the passing of Waneta. A life well lived she must have had! I so remember speaking with her monthly about her finances. Death leaves a pain that time cannot heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal. May God bless you and your family.

loss myself. The hurt and pain passes Steve. The priceless, wonderful memories and love never go away. Call me if you ever want to just talk.

Just wanted to let you know both John and I are keeping you in our thoughts. Even when we are expecting to loose our loved ones at this age it is still difficult to loose someone we have loved and shared our lives with for so long.
    Betty and John
