Thelma Alice Chapin, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully Christmas day, December 25, 2010. She was born February 23, 1924 in Alfordsville, Indiana to the late George and Mary (Arvin )Cox. Thelma will be lovingly remembered by her son Gregory and husband Alfred. She is survived by her sisters Doris Cox, Freeda Smith, Rotha Hudson, Jane Brown, and Sharon Cole. Services will be held on Thursday December 30th at Harry Moore funeral home with a visitation at 9:00am followed by a service and a celebration of life luncheon. Thelma will be laid to rest at Union Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
