Tamara Kramer, 73, of Pendleton, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4th, at the Rawlins House in Pendleton, IN after a year long illness.
Tamara was born in Homestead, PA on July 7, 1940 to Harry and Hazel Yermack (Mubi). She is survived by her sons, Scott Kramer of Chattanooga, TN and Jeffrey Kramer of Pendleton, IN. In addition, Tamara leaves behind her sister Tira Gillig of Cary, NC and her beloved daughter-in-law, Bonita Kramer of Pendleton.
Tamara received her duel Master’s degree in Gerontology and Sociology from Ball State University. Tamara worked for the Randolph County Welfare Department as a child abuse investigator, Lafayette Healthcare as the founding director of their Alzheimer’s unit, and was a case manager at Family Services in Lafayette until she moved to Pendleton to be closer to her family. Tamara Continued working though her semi-retirement at CVS Pharmacy in Fortville part-time until July of this year bringing smiles to her customers and co-workers. Tamara devoted her entire life to helping those in need and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
