Date Of Death: February 18, 2011

Shirley Ann (Kidwell) Booth passed away on Friday Feb.18th 2011 after a long fight with cancer. Shirley was born in Hendricks County, Indiana. September 21st 1935. She was a manager of Fogle’s Mens Wear for 18 years. She retired from Browns and Williamson Tobacco Company after working for them for 16 years. She worked for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 261. She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Shirley is survived by her three sons, Joseph Lee, Wallace Grimes, FR. Mark Thomas Booth, two sisters Donis V. Reed of Oxnard, CA and Delores Shafer of Dixon, MO, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five nephews and nieces, and their families. Shirley had a soul of an angel and will be buried at Washington Park Cemetery next to her husband Bob who passed away in 2005. She became a member of St Lawrence Catholic Church in 1981 and was baptized as she embraced her new faith.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23 from 4-8 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 6950 E. 46th Street. Indianapolis, IN. Funeral Mass will be held at the church on Thursday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside serve will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
