Date Of Death: February 28, 2008

On February 28, 2008, Sally Colton (Ross) beloved wife, of 48 years, of Walter and loving mother of Cathy (Steven), Betsy (James), and Laurie (Evan). Devoted grandmother of Nicholas, Matthew, Jeremy, Zachary, and faithful dog Nellie. Went home to be with the Lord after a 7-year courageous battle with cancer. Sally loved music, enjoyed taking long walks, reading, and having long talks on the phone with her many friends and relatives. She loved her church, her family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and two brothers. There will be a memorial services at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church located at 444 South Harbour Drive, Noblesville, Indiana on Saturday March 8, 2008 at 12:00 pm. Visitation starting at 11:00 am and a luncheon immediately following. We will meet at the New Hope Presbyterian Church located at 80 North Garfield Coal City, Illinois at 1:00 pm to go to the cemetery. Burial will be held at Coal City Illinois at Braceville Gardner Cemetery on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 1:30 pm. There will be a short service at the sanctuary after the graveside service at the church, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be sent to St. Michaels Episcopal Church of Noblesville, Indiana or the Susan G. Komen for the Cure at 5005 LBJ Fwy. Ste. 250 Dallas, TX 75244.
