Our sincere condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Aunt Evelyn (and Uncle Charlie) were very dear to us and we will miss them. Our memories of them stopping by to visit us, coming to our wedding (they came the farthest), our visit to Indianapolis in 1999 and their showing up (unexpectantly) the night Dad died, stand out the most. Aunt Evelyn was a kind, gentle and loving person. We always enjoyed visiting and talking to her. We take solace in the fact that she has gone to Heaven, been reunited with Uncle Charlie and is in the presence of the Lord. Please let us know if we can do anything and feel free to stop by if you are ever near Yorktown.
Love,
Vic, Terry, Joey and Ben Williams
Ann Miller says
Just wanted to tell all that I am sorry for your loss. Knowing that she is Home now in Heaven with her dear Saviour is comforting and makes all who knew her glad, though it does not ease the pain of missing her and talking with her here on earth. Please know that we feel for you and are praying for you during this difficult time. May the sweet memories that you have of her in her better days on earth and the sweet hope of seeing her someday help to ease the pain you may have now. May you know the everlasting loving arms of our Saviour round about you. Love and prayers, Joe and Ann (Thom) Miller and family

To the Kittrell family: I know it’s difficult to lose both of your parents (grandparents) and everyone says they’re in a better place. It’s true; however, the heart misses them terribly and it’s okay to mour and be happy for them at the same time. I miss my parents terribly but realize they are no longer suffering as they did in their earthly bodies. Charlie and Evelyn were great people to be admired by all who knew them. I have fond memories of baseball, New Year Eve parties, cookouts, jam sessions, bon fires, church services, etc. I will continue to keep the Kittrell family in my prayers.
Pastor Mrs Leigh Crockett says
Kittrell family,
We appreciate so much the legacy your mother left behind of being a godly wife, mother and pastor’s wife devoted to the ministry the Lord had given her. Evelyn worked so very hard, in the workplace, at home and at church, yet always had time for others. Her gracious spirit and eagerness to do for others, never regarding her own needs, served as a wonderful example to all of us. Your father and mother committed to praying for our four sons when they were very young and we feel we owe them a deep debt of gratitude for the way the Lord has led in their lives. The encouragement they provided was a major life’s lesson for Joshua, Nathan, Isaac and Luke. We know you will miss them greatly until we all meet again.
Love in Christ,
Pastor and Beth Crockett
