Russel Murdo MacInnis 88, of Noblesville (formerly of Christiansburg) passed away September 25, 2012.Russel proudly served his country in the Navy in the European Theater of WWII. After being honorably discharged, he went to work for General Electric as a Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer, where he retired after 34 years. He is survived by his children, Russell Jr. (Tami), Robert Bruce (Dawnmarie), and Diane; grandchildren Teresa Anne, John Russell, Robert Bruce Jr., Danielle Marie, Robert Songer MacInnes (Sherry), Angelia (Paul,) 5 great-grandchildren Nikki, Joshua, Kayla Tamara, and Will, along with his companion Donna Govoni. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Lois and grandson, Jesse. A mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 28 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
