Ross J. Goodman, 55, of Anderson, passed away on March 25, 2012. He is survived by his Fiance Yvonne, sister-in-law Robin, Nephew John (Kasie) and their son Xander, niece Jessica Goodman. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Randy and Roger. Ross was president of the Madison County Desert Patrol of Madison County in 1991, and in 1993 he was the president of the Murat Motor Corp. My first memories of Ross was from school, and we rode the same bus. The Goodman boys for me always made the bus ride fun. Roger was always laughing about something, Randy and his smile.. and Ross. He was always there to help out and to tell a joke. I don’t ever remember seeing any of them without a smile on their faces.It’s hard to understand why things like this happen to such great people. When i first got on fb i thought that maybe Ross was battling cancer, when i finally asked him, he told me what was going on with himself and what had happened to Roger then Randy. I think i cried for a week. Now i’m crying again. I truly believe that GOD brought Ross to you Vonnie,and that was a gift. I also believe that you have a beautiful, loving Angel watching over you. My thoughts and prayers are with you Vonnie, Robin, John, Jessica and Xander.

I didn’t know Ross all that well, but through Robin, I know he was a good brother in law and friend. I’d imagine if the miles hadn’t been what they were we would have been better friends. He was always great to be around the few times I saw him. Very sorry for your loss. I know Ross will be missed. Rest Ross, you fought the good fight and now it’s time for Peace.
