A real brother! We are union brothers and Masonic brothers beyond that we are friends. You taught me the word brother was more dynamic than the matrix of the biological family and deeper than the paradigm of racial complexities. Brothers are those who share all common goals and aspire for great heights together. Thank you

I’m going to miss my brother “Bubba”. He exemplified the Unionism of Walter Reuther and the rest of the leaders that truly cared about thier brothers and sisters. He never lost sight of the real goals and ideals of the UAW. I used to tell him, and I think he ageed, that that the real UAW union movement began and ended at the local level. He will be remembered as the local president that never forgot that the union was really for and about the members.
