Robert Eugene Spicer, II, 50, of Portland, Indiana, a much loved father, grandfather, uncle, and brother, died Tuesday, July 16th 2013. Mr. Spicer was born in Union City, Indiana on July 20, 1962, the son of deceased Robert Eugene Spicer, Greenville, Ohio, and deceased Carlene Hatchew, of Burton, Michigan. He was a certified welder and an enthusiastic fisherman. Surviving are three children, Amber (Marco) Hancock, Fountain City, Indiana, Erin Spicer (Jason Elliott), Richmond, Indiana, and Robert Eugene Spicer, III, Fountain City, Indiana; six grandchildren, Ashley Mosley, Chace Mosley, Blake Hancock, Audrey Elliott, Chloe Spicer, and Lillian Spicer; two sisters, Michelle Sowa, and Rebecca (Harry) Forehand; and friend, Lisa Derrickson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 1-2 pm at The American Legion, Portland, Indiana.
