Richard C. Beeson, 86, of Crawfordsville, went home Sunday, November 20, 2011.
He was born July 4, 1925 in New Castle, the son of Clayton and Avenell Beeson. He grew up in New Lisbon, Indiana. Richard served in U. S. Army. He was a member of Garfield Apostolic Christian Church, and a member of the American Legion.
Richard is survived by two children, Timothy Beeson and Terri (Lowell) Wilson; grandchildren, Jason Wilson, Chelsea Chezem, Kiley Stewart; great-grandchildren, Isaac Chezem, Baley Chezem, Hannah Chezem, Emily Stewart, Noah Wilson, and Sarah Stewart; sister, Thelma Milam.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Barbara Gauchat Beeson and Lillie Adams Beeson; his parents; and three brothers.
A graveside service with military rites will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill North Cemetery in Crawfordsville.
