Phil was so easy to like/love, it was a joy for all of us to know him, and share special times with. He took me for a ride in his Porsche once, I nearly blacked out, when he accelerated. Dick, Joe and I enjoyed the Formula 1 race with him, that was a happy day for all of us. I was convinced that he had his health problems on the run, it so sad to think about him as gone now, life is a short endeavor, we all need to cherish each moment. Love to all. To Diane and Family,
I often have lamented the distance and time that have kept me from staying in contact with Phil and my friends from Flack Design. Phil was a great man of integrity and a mentor for me. Had not God called me in a different direction in my life, I’m sure that I would still be working for Phil along side Kim and Amy. I am thrilled to see that you and Phil have been blessed with so many grandchildren and that Phil pursued all his passions to the very end. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

To Phil’s wife and family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss of a good, kind man who left much too soon! I am also sorry to hear that he suffered before he left. I knew Phil from his art & advertising business when I worked at Format, The Mathewson Group, and Blue Lustre. Cherish his memory and live your lives to the fullest… he would like that.

I am just hearing of Phil’s passing. I am very saddened to hear that a man that gave me my start back in 2000 has passed on. I am willing to bet there a lot of us out there that Phil started in the design business. I will always remember Phil as a quiet and solid leader which we could all learn something from. He was a great man that I personally will greatly miss.
