Peter Gus Bekiares, Jr., 63, Indianapolis, passed away May 20, 2013.
He was stationed in Germany during Viet Nam with the U.S. Army. He worked for the city of Lawrence.
Pete is survived by two sons, Nathan and James Bekiares; sisters, Chris Jackson, Teresa Jess, and Penny Eaton; grandchildren, Kenzi and Devon; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Sr. and Harriet Bekiares; and his brother, Wally.
A celebration of life will be held at American Legion Post 495, 8725 E 38th St , Indianapolis, IN 46226, Saturday, May 25th at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society or I.U. Cancer Center Patient Snack Fund. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
