Life is eternal, and love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon;
and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.

May your friends, family and memories comfort you. I’ll always remember Pat and Joe fondly- the world is a better place because they gave so much of themselves.

Joe and Pat have held a special place in our hearts for many years. Words cannot express the love and respect we feel for them and for the very meaningful life that they shared with each other, their children and friends. Today, I noticed the empty bottle of Blue Nun Wine which we still treasure. We shared the wine with Joe and Pat on a special occasion years ago. Our love goes out to all of you in this sorrowful time. George & Rose

Dear Bridget and Family,
I am deeply sadden by the event, and pray for the repose of Pat’s soul. She was a long-time friend and colleague (IUPUI) to my wife and me. The Lord she knew so well called and she answered — “Here I am!”

My dearest friend..high school pals..buddies..we will miss Pat immensely! There will be no more weekly telephone conversations…no more fish dinners at Frank & Mary’s..I do have happy memories of our trips to Ft. Myers, Wisconsin, Michigan, and the cabin in Brown County.
I cannot tell you the shock we felt at Pat’s passing.
May you, her children, be comforted in knowing of her love for you and how proud she was of all of her grandchildren.
During this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strengh of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts. May your hearts mend and your memories stay strong.
God Bless!

Dick and Alice Roettger says
Although Pat spent part of her high-school career at Broad Ripple at the same time we were there, we didn’t know her. Our acquaintance began when Pat worked at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Our third daugter married a young priest at St. Paul’s, and many of the parishioners volunteered to help — Pat and Joe among them. “Give me the list and we’ll do whatever is left,” said Pat. Cutting cheese into cubes for the reception was one of their chosen duties.
Later, when Dick had emergency bypass surgery, Joe and Pat offered their Brown County cabin for our use for two weekends. The fridge was stocked with wine!
After Joe’s death, Pat and I met occasionally for lunch–more and more infrequently as the years passed. Oddly enough, I thought of her either Tuesday or Wednesday!
We’ll miss her. She and Joe truly were God’s servants.
