Oliver Thales Reynolds, 89, passed away June 19, 2012. He was born in Pueblo, CO, July 15, 1922, the son of Gus and Irene Reynolds. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Butler University in Zoology. During his life, he was employed as a policeman, veterinary pharmaceutical salesman, Culligan Water dealer, JBR World Travel, and Greencastle Packaging and Shipping. Oliver was a member of the Kiwanis and Allisonville Christian Church. He was a gardener, fisherman, woodworker, and an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Reds.

Oliver is survived by his wife, Johnnye B. Reynolds; daughter, Beth (Bob) McCarthy; grandson, Brian (Laura) McCarthy; granddaughter, Meghan McCarthy; and sister, Orabelle. He was preceded in death by his brother, Orville; and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Allisonville Christian Church on Monday, June 25, 2012, with a funeral service to begin at 1:00, with Pastor Diane Spleth officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Gleaners Food Bank.
