Olinda Hernandez, 55 of Indianapolis (formerly of Pharr, TX) passed away on August 25, 2009.She was born in Hillsboro, North Dakota on July 19, 1954 to the late Maria Molina Hernandez and Vicente Hernandez, Sr.She is survived by her three sons George Torres Jr., (TX), Juan Angel Torres (TX), Jacob Torres (IN); and one daughter Leonor Torres (IN); six grandsons, George Tamez, Ruben Luna, Juan Angel Jr “JJ”, Alfredo Luna III, Jacob Torres Jr., and Elvis Achillis Torres; and one granddaughter Destiny Elaine Torres. She is also survived by her father Vicente Hernandez Sr.; seven brothers, Ancelmo (Rosie) Hernandez, Jaime (Sophia) Hernandez, Armando (Yolanda) Hernandez, Rigoberto Hernandez, Vicente Hernandez Jr., Robert (Mary) Hernandez, Danny Hernandez; five sisters Maria Magdalena (Tony) Ruiz, Minerva Nava, Dora Zuniga, Ofelia (Noe) Medrano, and Mary Ann (Robert) Tovar; sister-in-law Reyna Hernandez, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, brothers Raul Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez; sister Anna Maria Hernandez; and sister-in-law Dora Hernandez.A memorial Mass will be held at St. Lawrence on Sunday, August 30th at 6pm.
