Michael Ringlespaugh, 51, of Fishers, passed away on Dec 21, 2006.Michael Roy Ringlespaugh was born in Fort Harrison, Indiana, on August 17, 1955, to Carole and Gary Ringlespaugh.He graduated from Wes-Del High School in Muncie in 1973. He was a Hoosier Scholar at Wabash College, and had earned a master’s degree from Ball State University in history and journalism.He was a former member of Kiwanis Club of Connersville and attended East 91st Street Christian Church. His hobbies included photography, Civil War history, trains and freelance writing. He is survived by his parents, sister Lora Jacoby, brothers Rick Ringlespaugh, Dan Ringlespaugh, and Tim Ringlespaugh, and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Sat, Dec 23rd from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., with the funeral at 2:30 p.m. at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.He will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Mike and I met in Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Muncie when we were both in 6th grade… he was 13 days younger than me. We lived not far from each other and shared a summer camp experience once as well. I always liked him alot and enjoyed his very positive outlook. This world will miss his great spirit.
