Michael David “Mike” Ahern, 51, of Cicero, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 8, 1957, the son of John and Bettieann (McGrath) Ahern. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by sons, Brandon and Michael Ahern; daughter, Annie Ahern; parents, John and Bettieann; brothers, Jack (Destie) and Tom Ahern; sisters, Lynn (Allen) Collicott, Pam (Dave) Sidery, and Susie (Doug) Roller; significant other, Lori Willing; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs. Visitation will be Friday, September 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cicero, IN with Mass starting at 1:00 p.m.

I went to Westfield High School with Mike and saw him occassionally this last summer out on his tractor mowing. He lived across the street and down one house which was funny after all these years for us to end up neighbors. Happy moments Mike!
