Mary Ann (Sue) Rivers, August 24, 1937 – February 7, 2013, of Brownsburg Indiana passed away Thursday surrounded by loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ray Beam and daughter Nancy Beam. Surviving Sue are her husband James Rivers. Children: John Wesley Beam (Debbie), Catherine Beam Turner, Christopher Beam, James Rivers (Tonya), and Sarah Rivers Eberhart. Fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Sue was an avid gardener, nature enthusiast, and pet lover. She never met a stranger, she loved people, and people loved her. Sue opened her home to anyone who needed a warm place to stay, a cup of coffee, or a heartfelt talk.
A celebration of life will take place at Scamahorn Park in Pittsboro, Sunday February 10Th, from 2-6:00p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
