    Dearest Margie and Duncan,

I wanted to find some small way to be a part of Mark’s memorial even though I can’t be there in person. I’m just going to parrot Sofia’s words because I think she got it pretty right: “Tell Tante Margie we still love him and it will be all right.” We still love him. And somehow, eventually, it will be all right.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your husband, father, son, and brother. Mark was a caring, likable guy with a dry sense of humor who always made me laugh. I enjoyed working with him at both PwC and at Titus – he will be missed.
