May your soul rest in peace, dear Marina.
Sue Hall Wickersham says
Dear Evan, Mrs. Ashanin, Lydia, Valerie, and Michael: My heartfelt condolences and prayers of peace go out for all of you as you deal with Marina’s physical absence. Though Marina and I had not talked in years, as I remember our countless hours in the Alpha Chi house sharing our theologies with each other, my faith and heart tell me that her soul is in the same heaven that I hope I go to. Like Christ, Marina brought joy and love and peace and hope to this world. And because she knew that God’s message to love and serve would not have been heard without the death and resurrection of the messenger, I will continue to think of her every Easter and will always celebrate the treasured gift that God gave me in Marina. This love never ends. May you also find comfort in that.
