Margarete Daines was born in Leobschuetz, Germany on July 31, 1927 to Konrad and Gertrude Mainka. She spent her early years in Germany before moving to the United States after WWII. She married Delbert Daines, a proud and distingushed Veteran, and they were blessed with two daughters, Ruth Margaret Miller and Grace Elizabeth Daines. Delbert passed away November 22, 1998, and Margarete passed away September 12, 2007. At her request, no formal services were held.
