Mrs. Margaret D. Schaefer, 85, of Indianapolis , passed away at St. Vincent Hospice.She was born in La Porte, Indiana on April 21, 1922 to Fred A. and Anna E. Doll. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School, and after completing cosmetology school, she and her twin sister opened their beauty shop, The Doll Shop at the Hume Mansur Building in Indianapolis.She met the love of her life, Carl Schaefer while dancing at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, and they celebrated over 46 years of marriage. He preceded her in death in 1996.She is survived by her son, Fred Schaefer of Indianapolis.Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13th from 5-8pm at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Road and one hour prior to her funeral service, held at 11:30am at the funeral home.
