Mabel J. Madren, 90, passed into the presence of the Lord May 7, 2008 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Anderson, Indiana to the late William and Maud Daugherty on April 12, 1918.Mabel lived in Louisville, Illinois as a child, and later in Anderson until 2007 when she moved to Pontotoc, MS to live with her daughter Beverly Wiley. She was a homemaker and worked at Delco Remy. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Ladies Shrine Club and, worked as a Pink Lady at Community Hospital.She married Delbert V. Madren on April 16, 1937 who preceded her in death in 1986. Mable is survived by her son William (wife Sarah) of Indianapolis, Indiana and her daughter Beverly Wiley (husband James) of Pontotoc, MS. She also is survived her grandchildren; John F, Wiley TX; Jennifer L. Johnson, NV; Suzanne M. Wiley, AZ; James D. Wiley, Pendleton, IN; Jason A. Wiley, Indianapolis; Cynthia A. Wood (Madren); Wilkinson; and Michael B. Madren, Greenfield. Other survivors are eleven great grandchildren, one great, great granddaughter, and seventeen nieces and nephews. Mabel had one brother and seven sisters. One sister survives, Garnet Zankich in San Pedro, California. Visitation will be held at Meadowbrook Baptist Church May 10 from 10-12pm with services starting at 12. Rev. Dennis Zirkle will be officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society

    Bill and Sarah, I am sorry to learn of your Mother’s passing; however, we know she is with our Lord and we have that promise of seeing our loved ones again on that glorious day when He calls all of us home.
