I am very much saddened by the passing of Louise Nancy Collins and will keep memories of her close to my heart for the rest of my life. As I began to date her eldest daughter, Nancy Louise, many years ago, now, she always treated me like one of the family as did her late husband, John Frazier Collins. I was often invited on vacations and trips with them, just like one of the family. “What’s one more”, John used to say. When Nancy and I were married, we all finally became real family. She was my mother, too.
It was a privilege to have been her son-in-law. I will miss her, but I know she has passed-on the best parts of herself to her daughters, Nancy, Debbie and Connie.
My deepest condolences and prayerful sorrow at the loss of your mother. Having lost my own mother years ago, I know how you must be feeling. I hope – with all my heart – that someone will say or do some small thing to help you through these time. I will stand-by in hopes of being some small service to you – even in the smallest ways.
