Linda Rose Trogden, 60, of Indianapolis, was called home on January 3rd, 2009.Linda was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 17, 1948 to William E. “Chick” and Cora (Castle) Krischak.Linda graduated from ISU, taught several years, and retired as an accountant.She was very active in Sunnyside Road Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Church Clerk.In addition to her church family she is survived by…sister Susan Cuffle of Terre Haute, stepson Jim Trogden and stepdaughter Mary VanDeventer, stepgrandchildren Cortney Trogden of Chicago, and Adrienne Trogden of New Orleans, two nephews, and several cousins.She was preceded in death by husbands Jack Scruggs, and JV Trogden.Visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6th from 5-7 pm, with the service at 7:00 at Sunnyside Road Baptist Church.Graveside services will be at Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute on Wednesday at 1pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunnyside Road Baptist Church.

Linda was one of God’s angels here on earth…We know she is in His loving arms “at home” now. We thank God for Linda’s friendship and example of Christian service. While we will miss her presence here on earth, we celebrate her life and home-going.

I worked with Linda for J.C. Penny for 14 years. (1972 thru 1986)The last time I talked to her was around Oct. and I know she is in Gods hands. I remember one year when we had a blizzard I lived close to work and she lived on east side so she came home with me and spent the night. She will be missed.
