To John and Nathan and the entire family, I share in the loss of your loved one and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. One can never prepare for the loss of a loved one, but can find hope and solace in knowing that they are in God’s care. The peace of God, which passes all understanding is there to comfort, strenghten, and guide you during this time and the days ahead that follows. May you always remember the great and wonderful things about Linda, how she cared for you and for others. How she nurtured you and guided you through some of your most challenging moments. How she loved you at times when perhaps, you were not worthy of it. As your principal, please know that I am there for you during these difficult times. I, too, loss both parents at a very young age and had to endure what you are now facing. It was only by the grace of God and His love for me that I made it through. Continue to keep Him in your life, and things will turn out great. Have a blessed day and feel secure in knowing that there are caring and loving adults at Belzer Middle School to take care of your needs.
God Bless!

John and Family,
Your wife and mother was a good friend and a good neighbor. I admire her faith and strength, especially during the last several months. I know she was ready and accepting of God’s plan for her, and I know she will still be there for all of you spiritually. The girls and I are right next door if you need anything at all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Linda, I remember your indomitable spirit and your unquenchable mind of enthusiasm for the mission, all this accented with the flare of your laughter and smiles. Your new life shall be a treat to those in spirit world but a loss to those on earth, unless we can transplant a twig from your spirit within us, for then it ought to grow into a great tree that bears us happiness fruit or something like that that brings us closer to the taste of friendship with God. This is how I shall remember you and carry you with me from now on: like an eternally sprouting twig within my soul.

Dear LOVED ONES:
It is now 6:30pm by New York time, and I have spent the whole day with you internally. Gillian and I went to the labyrinth at 11am to pray hand-in-hand in the “Spiritual World cloverleaf” part of the labyrinth offering our heart and love for Linda, for God, for your family and all in Indiana present for the ceremonies. Yesterday, I wore the hanbok that Linda gave me, and today, I’m wearing the green sweater that she gave me–both were the last gift she gave me as she cried with deep tears. One Korean brother who I tutor (English), prayed in Korean for Linda as I shared my tears and heart with him about our dear sister and friend (this evening about 4:45pm).
Thank you, Linda. You are one to emulate–your kindness, your love, the way you make friends, your evangelical and lecturing skills, your keen intellect, your immediate attention to attend God’s call and divine providential Will. Thank you for the Triggol family and your Holy Spirit love and care for Indiana. May you all keep Linda/your mother deep in your hearts and may she abide with each one of you eternally!!!
GOD BLESS YOU, AJU, AJU, AJU!!!
Sincerely,
Susan Herrman and Barry Felig

Dear John, Linda, and Family,
When I came to Indianapolis in 1996 our group spoke almost no English, yet Linda was always so happy to work with us. Yours was a family who always sought to give everything to others, and I didn’t realize until later how special that is. Even now, not having seen you for several years, I still think of Linda as my elder sister. I hope we can work together again in the Spiritual World, and I wish many good things for your family.

I consider it an honor and privilege to have known Linda, a true saint and heavenly daughter of God. While we will miss her dearly on this earthly plane, at least we know that she is working hard in the spiritual world already and is free of all pain and physical suffering.
My prayers are with you John, and your children, during the coming days and weeks. I am sure that Linda will continue to be there to love you and the children, and that you will be able to feel her heart and love, now that the walls between our two worlds are easier to cross.
The greatest testimony to Linda is to work hard to follow her example of love, joyful sacrifice and true dedication to God, True Parents and others. I will do my best to develop her amazing heart each day.
With love and prayer – Kathy Winings

Dear John, Linda and Children,
Whenever I have heard mention of you, Linda, over the last decade or more, even though I don’t recall seeing you very much in person, my fond memories of my time with you, John, and our Barrytown team–Dan Fefferman, Jim Hewes, Eugene, and the rest of the guys (unfortunately, I’m drawing quite a “senior moments” blank at this juncture–durr, duh & d’Oh!–and I don’t quite remember all the others)–come to mind. All the good memories adhere to you, Linda, by extension, and to your children–again, even without so much personal contact. I pray for you– Linda, John, children–in gratitude for your sacrificial life of loving and joyful attendance and your model behavior during your earthly and celestial courses! Much love to you all! Dear John & Family!
Our lives cross so many; we may not even realize when we have loved someone enough or made an impression…
In 1998 Linda and I were two of the 50 Americans that joined 50 Korean & 50 Japanese in Kodiak, Alaska to spend three days with and in training under True Parents. ~When we hear inspiring testimonies of others, we often feel it is out of our reach to be this exemplary. In reality, it is the small things we do that others remember, the times we sacrificed instead of taking the easy way, when we loved from our heart of hearts. Linda traveled far from your family many times, but she especially appreciated you, John, who could provide a stable atmosphere she trusted 100 percent; she did not have to worry about your children spiritually or physically when she left. You were the wonderful person behind the scenes that helped Linda make the beautiful offering she could.
Linda told me this about you. John, you must have been a great husband and father and still are. Linda could receive Father’s calligraphy because you were public and could give her up to do the right thing at the right time.
You were willing to allow your family to suffer in the small things so that God’s will could go forward. Thank you for being such a historical person.
We love you and your family! Sincere thnaks for being such a great husband and father.
In our Parents,

Dear John and Family, I was often Linda’s roommate on our various providential adventures. More importantly perhaps than her greatness in the mission field was that she was simply a real person and loving sister with no airs. My hope for your family is that she can interract freely with you, and when she is off on mission again, that the Holy Spirit will sit with you and embrace you till she returns. Many blessings to you.

Dearest John, Linda, and children,
We send all our love and wish many blessings for you all. Lorna spent many precious moments with Linda, most recently at CPL, during the time she received her award during TP’s birthdays. I tried to take care of her, and her health, as best I could; and we rested in the same room together, every night. Then we encountered together, all the loving healing angels in the special bathhouse. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you, Linda. I need to really write you a letter, detailing all my many wonderful experiences with your Mommy and precious wife. John, I always remember the time when I first met you at CPL at the Leaders’ Workshop in 1997. We are very, very sorrow for your loss; and we deeply appreciate all of your sacrifice for Heavenly Father, and our loving True Parents. Linda is such an incredibly kind, and loving friend; and all of us (not just our family) love and appreciate her, and all her devotion to Heaven so much. And yours so deeply, too, John. Many blessings from Heaven to you and your lovely family. And many hugs and kisses from Lorna and (Rev.) Esteban Galvan, our sons, Steve and Jim, and all of the Bronx FFWP members. Kathleen says
Dear John and all of your family members,
Much can be said to invest our lives with True Parents and then be able to walk into each others lives without time constraint. I believe it must be much like Heaven. When I came to visit your family this past August, it was as if 20 years had never passed. This is a testament to the teachings of True Parents and the Divine Principle. One of the traits that made Linda a great person is that she thought she was a step behind everyone and to over-achieve kept her par with everyone. The opposite was true; she was the one we all needed to keep up with to be on her standard.
Reminiscing, I can honestly say that when I worked side by side with Linda I was jealousy of her and tried to be like her. It took a while but I finally discovered that my place was to support her and to help her reach her goals. Once I started to do this, I was showered with blessings. God needed a vessel to work through and Linda offered herself for GodÆs work, it was a match made on Earth and taken to Heaven.
I read Cindy PfeifferÆs letter, and completely agree, Linda could not have accomplished as much as she did without you, your children and her immediate and extended families. I am sure you are very proud of Linda, and you should be very proud of yourself because she could not have done it without God, True Parents and you. (Nice company to be in).
All the best,
With love,
Kathleen

Dear John and Family,
I had the honor of meeting Linda at the 21 day WS at CPL in 2000 and again during the CIG activities in 2003. When I mentioned that I wished I had a watch, Linda instantly took hers off and gave it to me. I will never forget her love and kindness.

Dear John and family,
My family wishes you all the best at this difficult time of transition. Especially around Veteran’s Day, we honor the sacrifices of our military. What a sacraficial and noble life Linda led; and for the highest of ideals: to establish God’s kingdon on earth.
John, I remember like yesterday when we were at Camp K singing that African Zimbabwean song “I zig a zumba” or something like that. How time passes quickly. It is not the length of life, but the quality of that life. May God be with you and your family.
Love,
Jim, Mayumi, Julia, Jenni & Jamie Hewes

I met Linda in at a seminar in Korea in 1993. We had a short conversation about America and Iraq. She expressed her deep concern for America and people affected by the WTC incident. I wish God’s blessings for the Triggol family at this time.

My heart is with Linda and your family. I was given the state of Indiana as my mission state in 1975 after 120 day training in Barrytown. I served at the center on 38th St. and in Bloomington in 1975 – 1976. We were able to send 6 spiritual children to the Washington Monument Campaign which was the goal at the time. Only one survived over time and was blessed. I miss all of them, even to this day.
My ancestors were pioneers to Indiana in that area in the 1800’s. I am deeply grateful to Linda for her example and the faithfulness of her family.
All my deepest regards,

What a wonderful sister you were to all of us during the 2001 mobilization to New york before the 9/11. Our group was in Harlem center. Always you gave us inspiration, hope and encouragement to really invest our hearts and efforts in God’s providence at this crucial time in history. Thank you for your hard work for God and True Parents. You will be remembered always. May God’s grace and peace be with you and your family forever.
With all of God’s love,
Ekaette.

Dear John and family,
We met you at the Taylor home when your family visited the Taylor family in Maryland and we all celebrated together. What a beautiful celebration that was!
We share with you the lonliness of missing Linda in the physical world. Yet we know she will help us all and our challenge will be to develop our senses to be in tune with her as she spiritually communicates with us.
We celebrate with you the noble and beautiful life she lived on earth for Heavenly Father and True Parents!
We are sending these words late because it took us time to find the following:
So, what is the Kingdom of Heaven on earth? The Kingdom of Heaven on earth is the place where love bulbs shine. Then how about the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven? It is the place where love bulbs shine completely.

How can I begin to describe the wonderful emotions and feelings we shared with your family! The (heartfelt!!) hugs with John after the service, sitting with little Nathan, sharing a gift with me his mommy had given before her passing. The deja vu of hearing Linda’s voice after the service (Linda’s sister … inviting us downstairs!). But, the best part was 6 weeks before her passing as we were leaving her room to return home: After praying so richly for our couple (and buckets of tears falling), Linda said sweetly (with her angelic, beaming smile) Well, I’ll see you again… then adding even more sweetly: You know what I mean… Thank you Triggol’s for this heart salvation for me. Thank you Linda, what treasure you are…
