Leon Rogers Brashear, 69, passed away on February 18, 2012. Leon was born on March 19, 1942 in Viper, Kentucky to the late Roy and Zona Brashear. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue (Tipton) Brashear; his children: Ronnie (Verna) of Quincy, Paul (Barry Byrum) of New Whiteland, and Natalie of Indianapolis; his grandchildren: Chad, Ronnie, and Samantha; great-grandchildren: Eli, Angel and Kelly; siblings: Jean (Robert) Moore of Germantown, TN; Edie (Russell) Mathews of Cincinnati, OH; and Jan (DJ) McKenney, James (Juanita) Brashear, and Roy (Gloria) Brashear, all of Viper, KY; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time. He will be laid to rest at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Acton, Indiana.
