Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 11:00 until 2:00 Monday, January 9, 2012 at Brady Lane Church of Christ. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 at the church. Kenny requested very casual attire for his celebration of life. Burial with military rites will follow at Meadowview Cemetery. Dinner at the church fellowship hall will follow the graveside services. All are welcome.

Sharon and family: I was in Kenny’s class. Hope you remember me. It’s been a long time. We were a close class, small, but close. Had a lot of good times. All of us just being “buddies”. I know Kenny will be missed by many. He was truly a good guy. May God be with you all during this time and always. Sharon

I know that he is in heaven with Elizabeth and other loved ones–Sorry that we can’t get there for the visitation–having trouble walking and standing too long at a time. Dear Sharon,David and Beth,

We can only imagine how difficult and sadden that Kenny’s end of life must be for you. He was so special in his truth in loving others, be it his family, a neighbor, or for many of us, his friend.

I remember Kenny saying to me after his Mother died, “she will never be out of my mind even though she is out of my sight.” Simple and to the point, but so genuine from someone like Kenny.

Perhaps, this message will help us all. Whatever we were to each other, we still are. Speak to me in the same easy way you always have. Laugh at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Life means all that it ever meant. All is well. Nothing is past. Nothing has been lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Only better, infinitely happier. We will be one, together, forever.

Our warmest condolences to all of you.

    Hal & Lynn

Sharon, we are so very sorry to hear of Kenny’s illness and his final loss with such a terrible, terrible disease. Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you and the wonderful loving family you both have created.

In school Kenny always had a special little smile and a twinkle in his eye, like he knew something you didn’t. The energy he gave off!

Sounds like he continued to enjoy the simple pleasures God offers us all, if only we slow down, listen, feel, and savor with our hearts. Many times the touch of a pet is all that’s needed for comfort.

May you all have some quiet peace within, remembering, and treasuring the memories the years have given you together.

Very sincerely, Chiquita & Bobby Baker, Ft. Myers, FL

Beth and family…. words will never be able to take away the heartache, but praying that the heartache will ease as we confront future holidays. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but knowing how much love he gave you along with the many memories you all created is a blessing. He is living joyously among the angels that are looking down upon you all. Be open to the ’signs’ he may show you that he is always around in spirit. Many blessings to you and may you find warmth and love within you heart for the upcoming year. Prayers are with you… gale
