This is Freda and Kathy was my sister in law in the early eighties when I was married to Dan Maher. I thought about Kathy yesterday because I had an appointment with someone she recommeded to me back when I was married to Dan and I had some extra time to sit down and read the paper and just happend to see her name. I want to send David, his family, and the Maher family my heartfelt condolences. She was a lovely woman and I will keep the memories I have of her. It is a sad time, please give the kids a hug for me.

To Kathy’s Family-
Dave and I were so sorry to see the newspaper and were so very shocked at Kathy’s passing.
You all lived up the street from us on Darby and I pass your old house nearly every day and not a time goes by where I don’t think of all of you and now esp. Kathy.
I also worked with Kathy when she was an RN in ICU @ St. Vs- She was a great nurse and really smart!!
Kathy and I also served as Room Mothers @ Harcourt Elem. for Chris (Adams) and Ryan’s classes. We had such a great time doing that together!
My boys (Chris & Justin)spent many hours up at the Maher’s swimming and just playing with Ryan. Kathy was always a great hostess and thought nothing of all the pop and snacks the kids consumed.
Ryan,Kelly & Chrissy: Chris was so sorry to hear about your mom. He would have been there but had to work. I also would have been there but have a broken leg.
You all were part of my boys “growing up” years and I want to thank you for that.
Ryan- (or anyone else for that matter..) if you have time come by sometime- we would love to see you and I know Chris would like to talk to you. We are still on Claridge.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I know Kathy loved all of you so very much.
Thoughts always,
Carol (&Dave) Adams
